Purpose/Overview:

Review and develop familiarity with the new NCEES online evaluation system so that participants have a basic understanding of the interface and general workflow expectations. Engage participants in hands-on use of the new online evaluation system.

Description:

During the session, facilitators will review/demonstrate the organization of the platform/program, highlighting the alignment of the workflow to the existing North Carolina Educator Evaluation Process. Additionally, time will be provided for participants to practice using the new online evaluation system.

Objectives:

  • Review the configuration of the new NCEES platform
  • Demonstrate the workflow
  • Practice using the online evaluation system.

Determine the members of the Home Base and Teacher Evaluation Tool Training Teams. (Who from the district is participating in the DPI regional training that is occurring in late June and Early July.) Bring a laptop with wireless capabilities.
